Read on for a bit of my trip to Seattle and three different looks with the sweater + shirt combo.

The only two photos from one of my favorite shoots ever...I'm not sure what happened with my camera or memory card, but all shots from my second day in Seattle are all lost. Anyway, I'm thankful for these two survivors. Wearing lots of Madewell, as always, but can you blame me? For a while now the sweater and collared shirts combo has been a big trend, which is great because if you're like me and have more sweaters than you can count, there are so many possible combinations you can create. You can match the combo with jeans, pants (for a more business look), shorts, mini skirts, or maxis. You can also top it over with any type of outerwear and you'll be good to head out into the cold. I think this outfit would have been super cute with a beanie but I forgot to pack one for my Seattle trip. Once again, I accessorized with dainties to add a more feminine touch to this darker, leather look. Below are a few looks I created for three different events, all based off the sweater and shirt combo (click on the pictures for direct links).
This combo would be super cute paired with leather pants and some pointy, red heels. Add some dainty rings and red lipstick, throw on a black hat, and you're ready for a dinner party.
Pair this combo with dark grey or black trousers and you're ready for work and happy hour afterwards. Add a timeless silver watch, black heels, and a satchel to look classy and professional.
Throw this combo on for a casual weekend look. It'll be perfect with some leggings or any comfy pants. Put on some sneakers and grab a tote bag for a holiday shopping look.
