- Munchy Monday: Eggslut -

Happy Munchy Monday! This week's spotlight is on Eggslut in Los Angeles.
Egg Salad Sandwich: $6.00 // Bacon, Cheese, and Egg Sandwich: $6.00
Eggslut is a must try if you find yourself in downtown Los Angeles. Instead of looking for a restaurant, look for a stand located inside the Grand Central Market on the Broadway Street side. I was a little thrown off when trying to find the place, but ended up loving the hidden gem that I had stumbled upon. It was pretty crowded around 1 PM when I went, so I'd imagine that it's more packed around noon since the market is easily accessible to people who work in downtown. Seats are first come first serve and food is ordered at the cashier. Workers are decent - they don't interact too much with the customers but are fast and get their job done. Do not leave without trying The Slut (photographed in the first photo)! This oddly named dish is coddled eggs and potato puree topped off with sea salt,  chives, and crispy cristoni. I imagine it to be what heaven tastes like, but only if you follow the instructions that the dish comes with. It's $9 for a tiny jar that will probably leave you speechless. The Egg Salad Sandwich was delicious as well and my friend loved her Bacon, Cheese, and Egg Sandwich.
