I said over and over again that I wasn't going to fall for the ugly sandal trend, and then I found myself purchasing these babies earlier this week. They bind my feet a little too tight since the straps are so thick, but I still love how simple they are and am hoping that they stretch out. Here are a few other uglies that are worth buying: Zara Bio Sandal, Sam Edelman Adora Sandals, Free People Rosewood Sandals, and Ancient Greek Sandals Thais Sandals.

The Big Easy by Benefit, Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Adventure by Dior

Absolutely in love with both of my new beauty buys! I've been searching for something like The Big Easy for so long. My skin is both oily and dry and this little wonder controls the oils while moisturizing at the same time. I've never been a fan of foundation because I didn't like liquid or powder formulas, but this liquid to powder formula gives me the best of both worlds. It's easy to apply and leaves my skin feeling soft while evening out my skin and hiding blemishes. Another reason why I love this product is the fact that no primer or brush is needed! I'm very lazy when it comes to make up so this product is perfect for me since I just need to apply with my fingers. As for the Dior lip gloss, I think I've finally found my match. I've always preferred lip gloss over lipstick but this product serves as the perfect medium. The problem that I've had with previous lip glosses are that they're either too sticky or not bright enough in color. With lipstick, I find my lips feeling almost heavy and am constantly checking to make sure nothing smears. The Dior Addict Fluid Stick solves all of these problems! I could not be more satisfied with the long lasting color or lightweight feel of it and it is definitely worth the $35!

White Matter by Formula X 

 Finally tried out Formula X in a fun summer color, White Matter. I decided to give this Sephora exclusive brand a try after seeing it in stores for months, but I think I could've invested $10.50 in something better. I am not a very big fan of Formula X's brush since its roundness prevents a clean sweep on the nail, as opposed to Essie's flat brush that gives you a nice smooth application. The only thing I like about Formula X's thickness is that only one coat is needed while I find that other brands require at least two coats to reach the desired color. Even though I prefer other brands, like Essie, I do admit that Formula X provides a lot of unique products that intrigue me. Here are a few I wouldn't mind trying out in the future: Cherry Blossom Top Coat, 5 Finger Nail Polish Remover, and  Xplosives Top Coat in Demolitian.
