New black and white's in preparation for fall!

It's always bittersweet when summer ends - goodbye sun, sand, and sea, but hello crunchy leaves, layering, and boots! I started my fall haul a couple weeks ago and wanted to share some of my favorite finds.
After a long search for the perfect boots, I finally found them at Zara. Black leather, check! Chelsea style, check! Short and chunky heel, check! I'm in love! I got them in a size 7, which shows up as a 6 and a half on their website (weird), and they fit a bit snug with socks on. I assumed 7 and a half would be too big and make my feet look like clown feet so I stuck with my usual size. They will probably stretch out once I start wearing them every day.
The Madewell scarf is beautiful and although it's not as soft as I would like it to be, it was on sale and is a great color/pattern. I'm always super into big scarves and shawls when the weather gets cold so this is not the last of them that you'll see on FIF posts!
The sweater and skirt are great additions to my fall collection. I don't dress with much color or pattern, so I decided to switch it up with these simple yet eye catching pieces. You can also never go wrong with black or white! The sweater also comes in a heather grey color, which I absolutely adore and probably would have chosen over the black if I knew it existed. It's now on sale and I'm debating on whether or not I should get it in this color too.
I'm still constantly online window shopping for more shoes, scarves, sweaters, the perfect coat, and, oddly enough, socks. Comfort and style are key. Here are a few pieces that have caught my eye:
